New Orleans welcomed the Super Bowl for the 11th time in the history of the city, and Friday it was announced as the host of one of the biggest professional struggle events in the world.
Wrestlemania 42 will be held at Caesars Superdome next year. This is the third time that the city will welcome the “grandfather of all”. The two -night event will take place on April 11 and 12, 2026. This is the first time that the city will have organized the event from Wrestlemania 34.

“Finally, Wrestlemania returns to New Orleans,” said a press release on Monday. “Next year, 2026, Wrestlemania 42, live superdome in one of the largest cities on the earth, New Orleans, Louisiana.”
Louisiana governor Jeff Landry also praised WWE’s decision to return to “Big Easy”.
“We are delighted to welcome Wrestlemania 42 in New Orleans next year. Development of this emblematic event three times in the past 12 years is an honor that we are not taking light,” said Landry. “I want to congratulate the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation for their successful efforts in this project. We are impatient to show WWE fans around the world, all our great state has to offer.”

Logan Paul “ never doing ” at least 1 high -risk movement at WWE
WWE also said that “Monday Night Raw”, “Friday Night Smackdown” and Nxt Stand & Deliver will also take place around Wrestlemania 42 in addition to WWE World and the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.
Rock was the one who made the initial announcement of the last episode of “Friday Night Smackdown”. The show took place at the New Orleans King Center Smoothie and saw a confrontation between the rock and the undisputed champion of WWE Cody Rhodes.
Rock said he wanted Rhodes to become “his champion” and, instead of aiming for WWE title belt, he was looking for the soul of Rhodes. Rhodes has until Saturday in the elimination chamber.

We do not know how it will affect the road to Wrestlemania 41, which will take place on April 19 and 20 at the alleging stadium in Las Vegas.
