WWDC 2025 – Our predictions

The overall atmosphere is a cautious optimism – yes, the recent Apple software upgrades have been disappointing compared to its standards, but the additional competition and pressure from Google (Fresh from an impressive Google IO 2025) and Openai could force him to intensify his game.
Rewind: What happened to WWDC 2024?
A year ago, Apple Intelligence did not exist. And twelve months later … Well, this is not yet the case, at least not to the extent that Apple has promised WWDC 2024. There is no doubt that AI will be the elephant in the room during this year’s event – and Apple must ensure that it is a nice part of Genmoji -Style Dumbo Rather than a shadow that hovers over the whole event.
However, WWDC 2024 was not all About Apple Intelligence. The Apple Vision Pro has obtained a global launch, the iPados obtained a calculator application (GASP), the owners of AirPod Pro 2 obtained a practical and Apple TV vocal isolation function obtained a modest equivalent of the Amazon X -ray function.
If, as has been said, there are few news from Apple Intelligence News in WWDC 2025, I hope that Apple will serve a bigger software upgrades than the slightly lean selection of Luke-Warm Canaps that we obtained last year …

Good Mooorning! As Tim Cook would say. I am Mark Wilson (editor -in -chief of Techradar, News) and I will make you guide you through the preparation of WWDC 2025 – which looks like one of the most important Apple software broadcasts in years.
He is a big one because I do not remember that Apple was on the rear foot before a WWDC event as much as today. From its bodged Apple Intelligence deployment to the recent dams of the regulators’ wrist, Apple has known twelve months since WWDC 2024 – so it will be fascinating to see how it reacts.
I am almost also interested in the way it provides for Houdini himself in certain annoying situations (the next generation Siri?) As I am in the software ads themselves. Whatever we get, it will be an essential visualization for Apple fans …
