WWE Summerslam will be a two -night event for the first time in its history when the premium live event will take place at the Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, later this summer.
For Zelina Vega, it will be a kind of return.

The current champion of the United States grew up in two rivers in the east of Queens, New York, but put his legs under her as a wrestler in the Garden State, in particular at Union City.
“I was training at Ace Arena de Jersey for a while,” said Vega with PK Press Club Digital in a recent interview. “Me and Aj Lee we actually trained together in Jersey and it also helped me prepare for this role, if I will be honest, to fight with my family ” to play it. “It’s amazing … When I grew up, I just wanted to be part of it,” she said. “And of course, I wanted to be champion. I did this enormous thing in my mind when I was a child, I said to myself:” I’m going to be champion, it will happen for me. “I haven’t seen a plan B in my mind.
“Now, it’s like, not only did you do it, not only are you champion, but you are also a part of the story. First of all Queen of the Ring, as I never thought that it was going to happen. So, it always shocked me but also this eight -year -old Théa who was as if I was so stubborn. I would get. So, proving it well, it looks like the most amazing feeling.”
Vega, as confident as she will ever enter Summerslam as a champion, also has advice to young girls who watch her.
“It’s just, never abandon yourself because you will have as many of our, you will have so many people who give you reasons why you should not be champion, why you shouldn’t get there where you want to be,” she told PK Press Club Digital. “But as long as you do not abandon yourself, no one will stop you.

“This is our very first two-night Summerslam, which is crazy because it is generally only Wrestlemania,” she said. “There is a lot of buzz on this subject.
