Always master of euphemism, x salutes many users (my American colleagues in particular) with error messages like “something that has gone wrong” or simply a virgin screen.

Some have taken (others) social media platforms like Reddit to exclaim that it is in fact an improvement in their lives. But here in the United Kingdom, X is back (at least for me) with its usual mixture of Elon Musk hikes, memes generated by AI and fascia holes.

This last breakdown missed the second earlier in the day around 10:00 a.m. and 2 p.m., but it is still quite widespread. There is still no official word of X on the cause of today’s oscillations, but probably Grok works on it …

It is really a world failure X / Twitter, with problems of problems that climb rapidly in the United States and the United Kingdom from 10:50 am HE / 2:50 p.m. GMT on the Downdector detector.

They just reached a summit of 30,000 reports in the United States, which is a massive breakdown. In the United Kingdom, reports fell during the last hour, but still oscillate at the 4,700 mark.

So what causes problems? Although there is nothing official, some cybersecurity commentators suggest that it can be a so-called DDOS (or a distributed denial of service), where a flow of Internet traffic submerges a server.
