X suffers from global failure, users are faced with a major disturbance

The social media platform ‘X’ – formerly known as Twitter – is experiencing a large -scale service disturbance, affecting users of Pakistan and several other countries.

Sudden disturbance occurred around 6 p.m. today, leaving thousands of users unable to access their flows or send messages.

According to the Downdector panel monitoring site, more than 2,300 users have reported problems at the top of the problem. The platform was briefly down on the desktop and the mobile, arousing frustration on the internet.

The World Internet Organization on Internet Netblocks has also confirmed that the disruption is in international range and not linked to a block or filtering Internet services at the country level.

Platform users have faced several problems, including connection and delays in receipt of direct messages. Although the services are gradually resuming, the company has not yet published an official declaration explaining the cause. In addition, many users have said they had encountered broken links during the disruption.

The Pakistan Telecom regulator also confirmed the disruption on Saturday, saying that the popular social media platform is currently experiencing a large-scale service disturbance in Pakistan.

According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), this disturbance which occurred following a global problem is encountered in several other countries.

“X” also faced service disturbances Thursday (May 22), which lasted several hours before the platform re-established it alone.

PTA also said that surveys have not revealed any technical problems with Pakistan Internet bridges and that all other Internet services across the country are operating normally.

PTA added that he was constantly monitoring the situation and will provide updates to the public as they become available.
