Yellow Jackets Season 4 is on the way and undoubtedly the fans buzzing To hear that one of the best shows on Paramount Plus is back. And thank God too, because this final of season 3 made us shocked, surprised and sad.
And it was this explosive violent final that has catapulted Yellow Jackets To become the final of the most watched season of Paramount with 3 million multiplatform viewers worldwide during its first seven days (according to the Hollywood Reporter).
A wonderful mixture of a survival thriller and drama passing through adulthood, the show has followed two chronologies for three seasons now – one in 1996 as a group of football players in high school is deserted in the desert after their plane, and one, nowadays, while they live with their memories and their secrets. After all: “the past is never really the past”.

Release date for season 4 of season 4
There is no Yellow Jackets Date of release of season 4, but we know that it is officially on the way. And it is thanks to a quick renewal a month after the final of season 3 of season 3.
In a press release from Chris McCarthy, CO-PDG of Paramount Global and president of Showtime / MTV Entertainment Studios (by variety), he said: “Yellow Jackets has become a cultural mastodon, season three broke all previous records – we are delighted to announce its renewal for a four -season season on Paramount + “.
There is no word on the start of the production, but with the fall of season 1 in 2021, season 2 in 2023 and season 3 in 2025, I imagine that we will not see season 4 before the end of 2026 or the start of 2027.

There were four big dead in season 3 and if you do not look at it and you have not seen the spoiler alerts, it’s time to go to the desert before reading this.
Lauren Ambros (Van), Steven Krueger (Ben coach), Simone Kessell (Lottie) and Alexa Barajas (husband) all met their ends in True Yellow yellows’ Land and violent face in season 3.
So, unless they make an obsessive reappearance like Ella Purnell (Jackie) has in a few episodes of season 2 and 3, we could have seen the last of them.

With very little known on theYellow Jackets Season 4 field, the best thing we can do is talk about the place where season 3 has left viewers and if you watched the final of the season, you will know it was a lot.
Shauna became the official queen of wood, Natalie found the transponder apparatus of the plane that Misty tried to shave in season 1 – and that has always worked (!), We still have no idea what Walter does, and without surprise, given the previous seasons, there were a lot of deaths. And it says it lightly.
While Shauna current found itself abandoned by Callie and Jeff, after revealing that Callie accidentally killed Lottie, she finally read Melissa’s letter. And then, she started writing her own memory of what happened in the desert all these years ago.
But when Melanie Lynskey spoke to Variety, she expressed her hopes that it does not mark the end of her story and Jeff: “I think Jeff tries to have a conversation with a completely released Shauna would be really interesting. Regarding the intrigue of season 4, Melanie said: “I have no idea. After this season, I have less idea. It could be anything. I could be killed in episode 1 of season 4. I literally don’t know”.
As mentioned above, Natalie managed to use the black box of the plane that Misty had hidden to try help, hearing the answer: “Yes, I can hear you”. So this apparently marks the start of girls’ rescue.
Addressing Entertainment Weekly, Lyle briefly tackles the next step for girls: “As we have said, they are not yet out of the woods, both literally and proverbially, but as a child in the 90s, we were not really able to explore the 90s in a real way.
“And I think that put them home at one point in a chronology of the 90s and that you fully immerse yourself in this period is something that I really look forward to.”

Will Yellowjackets return after season 4?
It seems that the plan has always been for five seasons, so I would be very surprised if it did not come back at least for one more season.
Addressing Entertainment Weekly in 2023, the co-creator Ashley Lyle said: “The original plan was about five seasons, and we have the impression that we are always on the right track for that”.
Adding: “We don’t really see that as being more than a five -season show. I think there are programs that can go forever, but I think that when you tell a story that is so deeply serialized and that it is about the life of these characters, you want to draw a satisfactory conclusion and not only lead things forever”.
Although it was a few years ago, it is not clear if the plans have changed in the mind of the creator, so we will have to wait and see.
