OPENAI has introduced a new temporary opinion into the Chatgpt message window when users more select the Chatgpt-5 reflection model in the model selector. The rocking allows you to switch between the standard and expansed options for the time of reflection.
Standard, which is the default selection, balances speed with intelligence, while Extended, which was the previous defect for users Plus, is also available.
Chatgpt pro users obtain two additional options: Light (the most snapping option available) and heavy (which uses deeper reasoning).
The new functionality of reflection time was introduced in response to user comments that Chatgpt spent too long in its method of reflection.

Light and standard options always use reasoning, but provide faster responses, while heavy and extended modes offer more time for deeper and more complete answers, which are useful when asking more difficult questions.
How to change the speed of reflection
First of all, you will have to be a more or professional user to do this. If you are then at the top of the chatgpt screen on the web, you will see “Chatgpt-5”. If you click on it, you get the option to choose between car, instant, mini-thought and reflection models.

However, there is a great limitation with the new option of reflection time – you can only access it on the web for the moment.
If you look in iOS or Android applications, you will see that the functionality is simply not available, and it will not be any soon. A message on the OpenAi website indicates: “We will bring this control to our iOS and Android applications in the coming weeks”.
Finally, we cannot imagine that the new reflection time assessment will appear for users of free chatgpt level as soon as possible – the GPT -5 cat reflection option will only be available when you go to upgrade to more or pro. Currently, free users can only use Chatgpt-5.
