The new Flash Gemini 2.5 image model from Google, better known as Nano Banana, has a new house in Adobe Photoshop. Those who have access to the photoshop beta application can produce images with Nano Banana, better known for making viral 3D figurines from photographs, directly in the generative filling tool, alongside the Firefly model of Adobe.
Nano Banana joins the platform with a new contextual model of Black Forest Labs, developers of the AI image manufacturer used by Grok on X, called Flux.1 KonText [pro].
This is a notable expansion for Adobe’s AI strategy, which has largely reached models built in Adobe so far. But now, Photoshop users can generate a dreamy and stylized background using Nano Banana, refine it with realistic shadows via flow. 1, and polish everything using Firefly, all in the generative filling function.
