- Over 700 Epson projectors transform the walls into moving and reactive works of living digital art
- Teamlab phenomena redefine immersive art by mixing environmental feedback with human interaction
- The wet and dry areas allow visitors to shape, touch and move through reactive visual landscapes
The greatest digital art experience in the world has been unveiled in Abu Dhabi, presenting a fusion of interactive narration, advanced projection and immersive design.
More than 700 EPSON projectors have been integrated into the exhibition of Teamlab phenomena of 17,000 square meters to create a visual landscape which transforms art into a dynamic environment reacting to its environment.
The launch event corresponded to the exhibition scale, with 6,000 synchronized drones lighting the sky in what would be the largest air display in the region, accompanied by a special musical composition of the Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi.
Technology meets the environment in living art
To watch
The exhibition includes two sections: the wetland and the dry area. Thanks to fluid -type digital environments that react to the touch and movement, visitors can have personal experiences closely with changing landscapes in the wetland.
Conversely, the dry area encourages movement through interactive areas where the work changes in real time in response to the presence of each visitor.
The works are not simple static objects but phenomena shaped by the environment itself. This dynamic quality is what makes Teamlab work unique and imposes immense requirements on the visual equipment that propels it.
“Even if people are physically immersed in the work of art, the work will remain intact, capable of eating naturally even if it is disturbed,” said Toshiyuki Inoko, founder of Teamlab.
To meet the technical requirements of this exhibition, Epson provided a range of high -light projectors, not only presenting a brilliant creative, but also what the best business projectors and the best solutions of portable projectors can achieve when they are integrated into immersive design.
This effort is not an autonomous attraction. It is part of a broader vision of the Saadiyat cultural district, which should include institutions such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the future Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and the Zayed National Museum.
“The phenomena of the Abu Dhabi team are a revolutionary cultural benchmark which redefines immersive artistic experiences worldwide,” said Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, president of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
Visual fidelity and real -time reactivity of Teamlab phenomena could not be carried out without the advanced projection and display systems. In a digital art space, this large and complex, having powerful IT systems is essential for backstage coordination and content control in real time.
