- Ray-Ban Meta Smart Lunes has just received an update from major IA in the United Kingdom
- Your smart glasses can now use the camera to answer what you can see
- Live translation tools are also “soon”,
If you live in the United Kingdom, your Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses get an upgrade. From today (April 10, 2025), your intelligent meta-lunes receive a free Meta IA update, which was promised to us during their first revelation in 2023.
The greatest feature is the arrival of look and demand tools, which allow your glasses to search for answers to your questions according to what you say, but also what you can see.
This tool will help specifications to transform into practical tourist guides when you ask them to identify you and talk to you about a benchmark or help you improve your understanding of nature by helping you identify the plants and animals you spy on – provided that the glasses have a good look.
You can also get the specifications to help you with the translation.
Currently, they can only read text and tell you what he says in English, provided that it is a sustained language like French or Italian. However, Meta says that “soon”, they can also provide a real -time translation when someone speaks to you – being able to translate, in real time, between Spanish, French, Italian and English.
To activate these new tools, you will have to activate Meta AI for your glasses in the settings of your Meta View application.
After that, use a language to encourage your Rays rays to take a visual signal with prompts like “heya, what am I looking at?” Or “heard, look at and tell me what type of tree it is”, and your AI will do the rest.
As with the other AI, your rays of rays do not get 100% of the time all the time, but in our tests, the glasses were surprisingly well. They helped us navigate the underground map of London – even when the station we wanted was just out of the sight of the glasses – and they did an excellent job by summarizing signs for us in sustained languages.
So, if you have a pair of smart rays, take advantage of your new Meta AI features.
