If you need something to move this week, Sirens arrived and it’s really worthy of a place in our best Netflix shows.
The Dark Comedy -Drama, which arrived today (May 22), already – at the time of the publication of this article – a critical score of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. Obviously, it went well with many professional writers.
To watch
For uninitiated: Sirens Is, according to Netflix’s own website, led by fans, an “incisive, sexy and dark exploration of women, power and class”.
The story of the show is told during a very explosive weekend, and sees Meghan Fahy play Devon, the older brother Simone de Milly Alcock, who has a very frightening relationship with her new boss Michaela (Julianne Moore). Clearly worried about his younger sister, Devon goes to the retirement of the country of Michaela in order to hold an intervention for Simone.
Why I recommend sirens on Netflix
There are many good reasons why I recommend Sirens this week. With only five episodes, you can easily watch it in one or two sessions.
Molly Smith Metzler, the playwright behind the very insufficient HousemaidWho with Margaret Qualley, created this Netflix program, which is based on Metzler’s own piece in 2011 Elemano PEA. So you know that this series is in good hands
Smith Metzler said Tudum: “This story has a lot of teeth. There are real moments of drama, and that will make people uncomfortable. Opera is a word that I like to use to describe it. It is a real dark comedy – and it has an atmosphere of Greek mythology. “”
The cast is also excellent. Alongside Moore, Fahy and Alcock, the tastes of the beloved actor Kevin Bacon. Considering the main video canceled Le BondmanIt is nice to see Bacon appear in another project, even if I am always very disappointed to see one of the best privileged video shows suddenly suddenly. It is always beautiful in PhiladelphiaGlenn Howrton also plays a support role, so you really can’t be much more starred than that.
If you liked Netflix The four seasonsIt is also another picturesque series in Gape. Expect large on-site scenes, glamorous cabinets and a lot of luxury. It is also full of the mystery and has a sinister nuance, because everything is not as it seems on this enclave of the island.
I was sucked from the start and quickly realized that I had broadcast three back to back episodes. You will find yourself desperate to know what is going on and what is going on with the rich philanthropist and animal activist of Moore.
I want to see more SirensBut we will have to see if Netflix decides to renew it.
