I finally got my hands on a Nintendo Switch 2, and after coming from an OLED Switch (and an original switch before that) and to be a player who uses it almost exclusively in portable mode, I also wanted to find the right accessories.
Of course, Nintendo has its own official case for Switch 2, and there are dozens of other options available on the web – see Amazon – but Belkin’s entry into the accessory market of the popular console intrigued me. And quite simply, I think there is a lesson here for other accessories manufacturers in the form of the two cases of Belkin for the Switch 2.
There is the case of charge for Nintendo Switch 2 and the travel case for the Switch 2 – the two come in three shades. Although I want Belkin to add dynamic options, I also appreciate the total protection of the console, as well as a lot of storage. However, where these two really succeed that they are not bulky, and the design does not bother utility.
Let’s start with the travel case – It is very affordable at only $ 29.99 / £ 17.99 / $ 39.95 in and is available in three shades: wooden, sand or green. I would love a little more variety here, especially since Nintendo did not drop the Switch 2 in the fun nuances, but it is not the end of the world.
It is built from a fairly durable exterior polyester shell with a softer and velvet interior and opens and closes perfectly with a zipper all around. This is also the size of the switch 2 and is specially designed to maintain it. When you open it, the main bed where switch 2 is on the screen, has indentations in the upper corners for the rear triggers of the Joy-Con 2.
I can easily store Switch 2 with zero concerns, throw it in a backpack or wear the case alone. The inner summit of the case is a mesh net, a sponge net for easy storage of other accessories such as cables, batteries, cleaning rags and really everything else. There is also a place dedicated to an aerial apple. As a person who treated with an airline losing my luggage which fortunately had an aerat inside, it is a shiny addition.
Even better, however, there is a folding location for 12 game cartridges for the Nintendo Switch 2. I am aware of the controversy surrounding virtual game cards, but that you bring a large collection of games from the Nintendo Switch for the new generation or you have pre -ordered a pile, this travel case allows you to bring your base 12.
Overall, a very functional design, but the travel case does not add much weight or thickness either. With a 2 switch inside, the whole pack is less than two pounds at 1.81 lb, and with certain accessories, it does not stretch much more than that. I particularly like that it has an adjustable handle, which makes it easy to transport.
Belkin’s travel case is fully transported transparently your switch 2, and this does not add additional bulk or flair – in fact, from the outside, it is difficult to say what is inside. Belkin generally adopts this minimalist and simple approach with its design, and I really like it here. Take a look at the official pro vision case compared to that of Apple Belkin; The latter is less marshmallow and much smaller.
Now, I also quickly learned that the life of the Switch 2 battery is not great, and the Belkin load case offers a solution, which is a slightly larger travel case with a dedicated place to load via a battery. Fortunately, the higher price of $ 69.99 / £ 49.99 / $ 99.95 at the inclusion of a 10K power bank and a load cable. This stores just under the bottom of your switch 2 – once inside – and is attached with a determined cable that can connect directly to your console when it is inside.
The main tray always adapts to switch 2 as a glove, and the inside of the top is almost identical to the travel case. This means twelve places for the game cards, an Airtag slit and a net net that can contain a lot of things. This is really an option specially designed with an integrated battery, although I know that it adds a little more weight.
He also has a handful, but does not have the additional embellishments – it’s a little more subtle. I want this to have a passage of passage, but this is not the case here.
Anyway, however, I like these cases because they really stand out from others. Both are simple additions that make it a breeze to travel with the Switch 2 – both close and distant – and the travel case is an affordable option that does not skimp on protection.
I think your Switch 2 – If you have managed to get one – will be at home. Both are also supported by a two -year warranty.
