YouTuber Ducky Bhai asks court to remove his name from PNIL list

YouTuber Saadur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has filed a petition seeking removal of his name from the PNIL list.

The petition was heard by Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo at the District Courts of Lahore.

The court sought a report from the National Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) and adjourned the hearing to March 26.

According to the petition filed through his lawyer, Usman Latif’s lawyer, Saadur Rehman argued that his name was illegally included in the PNIL list.

The petition further stated that the NCCIA did not issue any notice before adding his name to the list.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has granted bail to former additional director Sarfraz Chaudhry and co-accused Shoaib Riaz and Salman Aziz in an alleged corruption case linked to Ducky Bhai’s wife.

Justice Abher Gul Khan delivered a detailed six-page verdict, ordering the release of the accused on bail of Rs 100,000 each.

According to the complainant, Sarfraz Chaudhry received a bribe of 500,000 rupees. However, the court observed that the available record does not establish that Chaudhry directly received any amount from the complainant.

Earlier, YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala had approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking permission to travel abroad.

Both social media personalities are named in cybercrime and other cases and are currently subject to travel restrictions. They filed separate petitions calling for the ban on international travel to be lifted.

According to court documents, the petitions were filed through lawyers Raja Qadeer Janjua and Ahad Khokhar. The petitioners claim that their inclusion on the travel ban list is unjustified and has harmed their professional activities.

The petitions name the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Interior Secretary and other relevant authorities as respondents. The court was asked to issue immediate orders removing their names from the travel restriction list.

Hearings on the petitions are expected soon at the IHC, after which it will be determined whether the two social media personalities will be allowed to travel abroad.
