Zendaya has revealed the surprising role she played in transforming her mother into a “walking work of art”, admitting that she was the one who convinced Claire Stoermer to get her very first tattoo at the age of 50.
Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show during the Friday, April 3, episode, the 29-year-old actress explained that she even went so far as to draw the initial design herself.
Since that first meeting, however, it seems Claire has developed a bit of an obsession with the ink salon.
Zendaya told Hudson that her mom is now randomly calling her to tell her she’s getting a new one, adding, “She’s covered now. She’s like a walking work of art.”
The drama The star is certainly no stranger to tattoos herself, sporting a tiny little “T” near her ribcage in homage to her partner, Tom Holland.
This particular piece of ink debuted at the 2025 Golden Globes, the same night that Spider-Man: A Whole New Day co-stars announced their engagement to the world.
Neither Zendaya nor Holland have officially confirmed the wedding rumors, but the actress has certainly leaned into the bridal aesthetic while promoting her latest film, The drama.
