Zodia’s financial director Jonathan Hugh has left the crypto firm earlier this year

Zodia’s financial director Jonathan Hugh has left the company based in London earlier this year, the company said. Samuel Howe, the former operating director of the company, also recently left the cryptographic goalkeeper, as Coindesk reported.

“Jonathan is an appreciated member of Zodia’s guard team for two years and we remain grateful for their in-depth expertise, dedication and advice during a high growth period for the company,” said a spokesperson for Zodia Custody in the comments sent by e-mail.

“Although such transitions are an integral part of business, our company continues to grow. In 2023, Zodia Custody had 97 employees. Today, we went to 140 employees worldwide and 2025 will see our presence on the existing markets and expand in new jurisdictions,” added the spokesperson.

Hugh did not respond to a comment request in publication time.

Before joining Zodia Custody, Hugh was financial director of the Crypto GSR market manufacturer.

Before digital assets, he worked in products for Ed & F Man and Noble Group, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Zodia’s guard is supported by Standard Charterd Bank (Stan), SBI Group, Northern Trust and National Australia Bank (NAB).
