- Zoom reveals new AI developments, including IA Companion 3.0
- Its AI notes taking tool will finally work in the Google Meet and Microsoft teams
- “Realistic” AI avatars arrive at a meeting near you
Zoom introduced AI Companion 3.0, the latest evolution of its AI tool platform designed to accelerate tedious tasks and offer a multitude of personalization options.
The main capacities of the company SAUS AI focus on the transformation of conversations into actions, by winning the context of meetings, cats, calls and emails.
But for the first time, zoom AI agents will also work on other videoconferencing tools such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Webex, aimed at making them even more useful.
The companion AI of Zoom continues to improve
A big boost for the interoperability police, zoom AI tools are ready to work between the teams and Google meet in September 2025, with the Webex care expected on a later date.
Taking notes will also work in meetings in person, and users can take advantage of agent recovery to find organizational information faster to add an additional context.
“With AI Companion 3.0, our agentic AI can understand the context, priorities and specific objectives of users to help them reduce noise, focus on what matters most and generate significant commercial results,” said CEO Eric S Yuan.
Among the long list of other improvements to the Zoom AI ecosystem, there was a series of videoconferencing upgrades, you will therefore no longer have an excuse not to present yourself to these annoying meetings.
Zoom has described his next photorealistic avatars generated by AI as “realistic” and the perfect solution for calls when participants may not be “ready for the camera”.
This occurs while companies should unlock the frequencies of images of 60 frames per second and the management of several simultaneous HD flows. Zoom rooms with HDMI RIDS connections will be based on this with 1080p / 60FPS and 4K content sharing from December 2025.
