Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Junior, the son of the politician killed Mir Murtaza Bhutto, confirmed his intention to enter politics.

Bhutto JR, in a statement, revealed that he planned to start his political career with the Pakistan Party Party group (PPP) Shaheed Bhutto, which was founded by his father, a local news channel reported.

“It is true that I intend to enter politics and I will start with the PPP group Shaheed Bhutto,” said Bhutto Junior.

He added that his father’s heritage remains strong and he aims to lead the group in the future.

Bhutto JR said he still had a lot to learn from his country and his people, stressing that he does not yet consider himself to have all the answers. He is preparing for his political career.

He also expressed his concern about the water crisis in the Sindh, calling him a question of life and death for the people of the province.

He described the lack of water as a form of cultural genocide, stressing that humans and fauna in the region would not survive without access to water.

In response to a question, Bhutto Junior said that the Sindh government “trembles” while it faces growing demonstrations, including schoolchildren and women.

He noted that the government moves its story in response to these widespread demonstrations.
