Seattle Navy Voltger, Victor Robles, was suspended for 10 games after launching a bat on a launcher during a rehabilitation in the minor league in the Pacific Coast League.
Robles played for the Tacoma Rainiers when a Ball of the Las Vegas aviators, Joey Estes, arrived high and inside. The ball left, and as Robles swept around the receiver, it threw the bat towards the mound.

Major League Baseball announced the suspension on Tuesday.
Jerry Dipoto, the president of the Baseball Operations Mariners, told journalists before the team of the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday that Robles was to be recalled next week, but the incident and the subsequent suspension changed their plans.
He apologized in an article on his Instagram stories on Monday.

“I want to take a moment to apologize sincerely for my recent reaction on the field,” he wrote. “I let my frustration take over on me, and I understand how it may affect not only the game, but the energy and the respect that we all work so hard to maintain.
“The release of a long rehabilitation and being far from the game for most of the season has been physically difficult and mentally difficult. Adding to that, my mother’s recent passage was incredibly difficult, and I do my best to hold it together. It is not an excuse, but a context, I think you deserve to understand where I come from.”
The suspension will be effective on the first day that Robles returns to the team’s active list. It is not allowed to play in a game, including additional rehabilitation games among minors, once the suspension at the start.
