GTA6 is the most anticipated game of the year, if not all time, and is on track to gross over $5 billion by the end of its launch week. So it’s understandable that some studios want to avoid releasing their games so close to launch, for fear of being overshadowed.
After Rockstar Games officially announced that its game would arrive on November 19, Playground Games delayed Fable until February 2027 “so he can have the dedicated time he deserves.”
