Tiktok’s content creator John E. Crawley, known to millions under the name of “Kingbeardx”, died on Monday at the North Mississippi Medical Center after being hospitalized with respiratory problems. He was 47 years old.
The sad news of his death was announced by his friend and former co-host of the Podcast Anthony Caruso, friend of Crawley and former co-host of Podcast on a gofundme.
“I’m really sorry to tell everyone the bad news, but Pimpmunkx (Kingbeardx) died yesterday,” Caruso wrote on August 19. “Thank you to all those who have supported fundraising so far.”
“His mother told me to thank you all,” he added. “Fund collection will continue to support fundraising in funeral / help John’s mother.”
According to Nypost Crawley went to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi, earlier this month because he had trouble breathing.
The state of Crawley was “quite unstable”, according to the fundraising page, and it was then placed in the USI.
Crawley’s family asked Caruso to help them launch fundraising to raise funds for medical invoices from the Tiktok star because he had no health insurance.
“John is the main family support of his family, and unfortunately, he has no medical insurance,” said Caruso about two weeks before the shocking death of Crawley. “His condition is quite unstable, and we are all worried about him.”
The “funniest guy on the internet” self -proclaimed had raised 2.5 million followers on Tiktok thanks to tight angle and exaggerated humor shots.
The news of the death of Crawley caused thousands of tributes to the social networks of fans and creative colleagues who praised its unique brand of daily observation comedy delivered with high energy statements and home sockets.
The native of Mississippi built his consequences by relatable diatribes on food culture and social media trends, establishing himself as a distinctive voice in the crowded landscape of the creators of comedy Tiktok.
