Saquon Barkley played a key role in the winning season of the Super Bowl of the Philadelphia Eagles – so much so that a story has emerged on a resurgence of the position of ball carrier.
Barkley suggested in a recent interview with Sports illustrated that discussions on an resurgence not involved that talented runners were lacking in recent years, but that the teams had become reluctant to distribute major contracts, causing compensation for elite rushers to be down.
Bowler’s three time pro said that he believed that the dip came from “three to four” of high -level tampering signing big business and injuring himself later.

Barkley described the devaluation of running backs a story designed to maintain wages.
“(It was not, like, a dissatisfied for me,” said Barkley at the point of sale. “This is something they were trying to catch up, just so that they could get players for a cheaper value. And if you do this argument for runners, you can do it for any position in the NFL.”
“Now you have owners and GMs trying to find great players for a cheaper value,” said Barkley. “That’s what everything was. I was tagged. Josh Jacobs was labeled (by Las Vegas Raiders).”
“I’m not going to sit here and say that there has been collusion. I am not going in all that. But football is football. If you can’t run the ball, you are done.”

Barkley pointed out that the teams regularly sign the wide receiver to large contracts when they enter the thirties, and if these underperform players, it is not discussed almost as much as when the running back have reached this stage of their career.
“This (past) notion is so funny,” said Barkley. “It’s superimposed, all the things of the race-racing position are. You have wide receivers who [teams] Pay all this money to and when they enter the thirties, they do not work at the highest level; You never hear that. How many quarters can you name who has played in recent times? Not everyone is Tom Brady. They must drop it! “”
Last season, the 28 -year -old delivered one of the best hasty seasons in the history of the NFL.

In 16 games – he spent the week 18 before the playoff race – Barkley rushed to 2,005 yards out of 345 attempts with 13 affected, with an average of 5.8 yards per race. He led the league in the yards on the ground, attempts and yards per match.
Barkley brought this domination into a playoff series, rushing for 499 yards out of 91 attempts with five affected in four qualifying games – leading all the runners in each category.
Now Barkley will seek to help Eagles continue another Super Bowl ring when they open the season against Dallas Cowboys during week 1.
