The number of deaths in the fireworks warehouse is five

On Friday, at least five people were confirmed after a fireworks warehouse on the road to my Jinnah in Karachi caught fire Thursday evening, leaving 32 injured.

Two of the wounded died of their injuries during medical treatment while three other bodies were recovered from the rubble. Remaing 30 undergoes treatment. One person, however, could still be trapped under debris, said rescue officials 1122.

South SSP Mahzar Ali, who visited the site on Thursday with the bomb elimination team, told journalists that three other deceased had been withdrawn from the rubble and that two seriously injured victims died during hospital treatment. “It brought the number of deaths to five,” he confirmed.

The surveys revealed that the warehouse and the stores belonged to Hanif Patakha, son of Usman, and to her brother Muhammad Ayub.
