Pakistan-US trade reached $ 7.6 billion

Bilateral trade between Pakistan and the United States has had a significant increase during the current financial year.

According to sources, during the year 2024-25, the commercial volume between the two countries increased by 16%, reaching $ 7.598 billion.

Data show that Pakistan exports to the United States amount to $ 5.836 billion, marking an increase of 10% compared to last year. On the other hand, imports from the United States amounted to $ 1.763 billion, reflecting a sharp increase of 40%.

In the export sector, textile products remained dominant. Exports of bed sheets, tablecloths and cooking linen reached $ 1.038 billion, while exports of costumes, jackets and pants for men amounted to $ 936 million.

Other ready-to-use clothes have brought in $ 386 million, $ 361 million T-shirts, jerseys and cardigans $ 312 million and Hosiery (socks) (socks) 278 million dollars.

Exports of knitting men’s shirts were estimated at $ 244 million, leather items at $ 165 million and costumes, jackets and women’s dresses at $ 157 million.

As for imports, the highest growth was recorded in cotton imports, which increased to $ 393 million. Improve and steel scraps amounted to $ 159 million, soybeans at $ 137 million and $ 56 million coal.

Other important imports included chemical turbines on pulp and gas (each of $ 50 million), automatic data processing machines ($ 40 million), oil oil ($ 38 million), medical instruments ($ 36 million) and dried fruits ($ 33 ​​million).
