Elsa Japan launched the Veluga-D A70S G6, the first PC in the world to present Radeon AI Pro R9700 from AMD. The workstation is now available via the Elsa direct store at 498,000 yen, or about $ 3,3660.
The Radeon AI Pro R9700 is so far the most powerful GPU of AMD. It issues 96 TFOPS of calculation performance with 32 GB of GDDR6 memory. Inference is evaluated at 1,531 peaks with a 300W TDP.
The GPU is designed specifically for local workloads such as generative AI and important languages of languages, allowing professionals to process demanding tasks without relying on cloud resources.

The veluga combines the GPU with an AMD Ryzen 7,9700x processor, a 5 -core Zen 5 processor operating between 3.8 GHz and 5.5 GHz.
The system is delivered with 64 GB of RAM DDR5-5600 and can be extended to 128 GB.
The storage options vary from 1 TB to 8 to NVME PCIe Gen4 SSDS, providing speeds close to the maximum Gen4 limits.
Veluga-D A70S G6 is built around the AMD B650 chipset with a microatx card, leaving room for expansion. It includes a PCIe 5.0 x16 location (occupied by the GPU) and four PCIe 4.0 x16 locations for additional cards. The power supply is provided by a 1,000 W power supply certified at 80plus Gold Standards.
System cooling is managed by a large silent air cooler on the processor and three housing fans – two 120 mm units at the front and one at the rear. The case measures 220 x 460 x 465 mm, weighs 14.25 kg and follows a standard format at mid-power.
The front panel has two Type A USB 3.0 ports, two 3.2 Gen2 Type-C USB ports, plus audio sockets. The rear panel adds a 3.2 Gen2 USB type A, a 3.2 Gen2-C USB type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen1 type A and four USB 2.0 Ports of type A. There are HDMI and Displayport outputs.
The networking includes a 2.5 Gbit / s LAN port with Wi-Fi 6th and Bluetooth 5.2. The audio is provided by an HD output at 7.1 channels and a S / PDIF connector.
Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled and the system comes with a three -year shipment guarantee.
Elsa was initially founded in Germany in 1980 and became very known for her video cards before going bankrupt in 2002. Her Japanese arm, started in 1997, became independent the same year and continues to sell professional equipment exclusively in Japan.
For this reason, unfortunately it seems unlikely that we will never see the Veluga-D A70S G6 published on a global scale.
