The Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar will undertake an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from August 25 to 26 to participate in the extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) in Jeddah.
The DPM / FM will go directly to Dacca, at the end of its two -day visit to Bangladesh, to attend the high -level meeting.
“The high-level meeting will bring together foreign ministers and senior officials from the OIC Member States to deliberate on coordinated responses to climbing developments in Palestine, resulting from the current Israeli military assault, from its proposed plans for full military control of Gaza and continuous energetic violations of the rights of the Palestinians,” said the spokesman for the Foreign Affairs.

During the next extraordinary session of the OIC-CFM, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs will reaffirm the unshakable support of Pakistan to Palestine and reiterate his position of principle.
The DPM / FM will argue for the total withdrawal of Israel from all occupied Palestinian territories; Reject the scandalous Israeli plan to extend the complete military control over Gaza and the additional displacement of the Palestinians; highlight the urgent need for unhindered humanitarian assistance; And call for the restoration of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people-in particular, the creation of an independent, contiguous and sovereign Palestinian state based on the pre-June borders 1967, with al-Quds al-Sharif as capital.
On the sidelines of the OIC-CFM, the DPM / FM should hold bilateral meetings with its counterparts from the member states of the key, added the press release.
