At least two soldiers were martyred and 21 others injured when terrorists carried out a coordinated and fatal ambush for a frontier body position (FC) in the Tora Warai district in the Hangu district late Sunday evening.
According to security sources, the attackers targeted the FC post and the house officer of the resort of the region (SHO), Imranuddin.
A soldier in critical condition is under treatment at the Thall Hospital Military Hospital (CMH). Other injured people were moved to the same thing.
Earlier this month, in another ambush attack, heavily armed terrorists martyrize FC staff and their civil driver in Banda Daud Shah Tehsil of the Karak district, KP. According to local police, FC Patrol was assigned to protect the strategic oil field in Gurguri.
