Three men of the FC martyred in Hangu

Unidentified terrorists have set up a deadly assault on a border police peloton (FC) in Hangu late Sunday evening, leaving three martyrs of the staff and 21 other injured, including three in critical condition.

According to police officials, the terrorists stormed Fort FC in the Torah Wadi region in Doaba under the cover of darkness, triggering an intense cross fire.

Security officials have confirmed that Naik Sadiq Hussain, a resident of Safensang, of the Sepoy Abdul Ghaffar by Sado Garhi Chehel Ghazi Baba and the Sepoy Zewar Khan of Yar Ghalji kissed martyrdom in the attack.

At least 21 people were injured. Among the wounded were Naib Subedar Kashif, Havaldar Zahid, launches Naik Aziz, launches Naik Farooq, Sepoy Bilal, Maqsood Ali, Farooq Mehmood, Rafiullah, Amirullah, Abdul Haseeb, Halanlah, Wajidullah, Sajid Usman, among others. Meanwhile, the house officer of the Hangu station (Sho) Imranuddin, who rushed with his team to support the peloton of the besieged FC, was subjected to an ambush with three distinct points.

The terrorists opened heavy shots, but the Sho and his men retaliated, held the ground and managed to evacuate the injured in safety.

Interior Minister Mohin Naqvi, condemning the incident, said that the assault had been led by “Fitna al Hindustan”. In his statement, Naqvi paid tribute to the soldiers “who kissed martyrdom while courageously resisting the assault” and ordered managers to provide the best possible medical care to the injured.

“The courageous police officers of the Federal Reserve [the term used for FC personnel] have sacrificed their lives to thwart the attack on terrorists sponsored by India, “he said.” The sacrifices of our martyrs will never be in vain. “”

The attack comes as Pakistan faces a wave of renewed terrorism, in particular KP and Balutchistan, following the decision of Tehreek-E-Taliban (TTP) to end its cease-fire with the government in November 2022.

In recent months, terrorists have mainly targeted the police, law enforcement organizations and security forces, which has caused an intensification of terrorism control operations across the country.
