Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) announced that it would boycott the next partial elections in the districts of the members of the disqualified party in the cases of May 9, declaring these individuals of its “real representatives”.

Several constituencies are to be won while the Pakistan Electoral Commission (ECP) has recently disqualified several legislators belonging to the PTI following their convictions in affairs related to the riots of May 9.

In accordance with the ECP schedule, the by-elections will be staged in the NA-66 Wazirabad, NA-129 Lahore-XIII and PP-87 Mianwali-III constituents on September 18, while in NA-143 Sahiwal-LLL, NA-185, DG Khan-LL, PP-203 Sahiwal-VL, NA-96 PP-203 Sahiwal-VL, NA-96 Faisalabad-il, pp-203 NA-104 Faisalabad-X and PP-98 Faisalabad-L, the survey will take place on October 5.

Allies to power – Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PML -N) and Pakistan People Party (PPP) – had announced that they would jointly dispute the country’s next partial elections.

According to a statement published on Wednesday after the meeting of the PTI political committee, the party said that it had envisaged disqualified members of the political vendetta and had praised their “sacrifices”.

The party has reaffirmed its full support to [disqualified members] And undertook not to challenge the by -elections in their constituencies as a protest mark.

The press release also expressed good concerns about the current daily hearings on the Toshakhana affair detained in Adiala prison.

The party declared that this procedure constituted a “violation of fundamental rights” and could undermine “the equity of the judicial system”.

He stressed that daily hearings disrupt not only legal representation, but also exerted unnecessary pressure on the accused.

In addition, the Committee announced that, on the investigation of the founding president of PTI, the party resigns from the Committee of Public Accounts of the National Assembly (PAC), permanent committees and presidents.

However, the first PTI committee decided that the party would dispute the by-election of the district of Lahore NA-129, which became vacant after the death of the father of Hammad Azhar, Mian Azhar.

The PTI Political Committee thanked its founding president Imran Khan for showing total confidence in the Committee and making future political decisions to the organization for additional consultation and strategy planning.

Meanwhile, several MNA PTIs submitted their resignation from various parliamentary committees.

Faisal Amin Khan, brother of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur, resigned from all the permanent committees of the National Assembly.

He left the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, the Standing Committee on National Food Security and the ODD parliamentary working group. His resignation was officially submitted to the Chief Whip Amir Dogar.

Another MNA PTI, Asif Khan, resigned permanent Na committees and sent her resignation to the year president, Ayaz Sadiq.
