The Minister of Education is launching the degree verification portal

Islamabad:

The Minister of Education, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, inaugurated the Customer Service Bureau (CCD) portal on Tuesday for the verification of the certificate, developed by the Interboard President Committee (IBCC). The portal aims to provide students with easier access to the verification of certificates and related services via an online system.

Speaking on occasion, the executive director of the IBCC, Ghulam Ali Mallah, said that students can now check their online academic certificates via the customer office, while following the process via QR codes.

He added that students across the country will be able to file complaints or access services via the 24/7 office. “Parents and students from anywhere in the world can send an email to an email from the IBCC customer insurance, and each email will be replied within 24 hours,” said Mallah.

He noted that the portal has been working in beta mode for six months and was now made entirely public.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Siddiqui declared that the provinces have autonomy on education under the 18th amendment, but the IBCC was created to ensure coordination and ensure a uniform education level across the country.

He said the Ministry would soon meet provincial representatives to design a cooperation framework. “Today, we have taken an important step in the history of Pakistan. With technology, students will no longer have to deal with difficulties in verifying their certificates,” said the minister.

Siddiqui also said that the final report on the recent Cambridge exam paper would be made public once. Later, the minister planted a young tree as part of a planting campaign at the IBCC.
