The Kansas City chiefing receiver, Rashee Rice, was officially suspended six games for violating the personal driving policy of the NFL.
The suspension stems from his two crime accusations in the third degree of a March 2024 accident on a Dallas road. Rice was accused of collision involving serious bodily injuries and racing on a highway causing bodily injuries, which he pleaded guilty last month.
Rice is expected to miss the first six games of the team’s year, starting with their kick -off in Brazil against Los Angeles.

Rice should not appeal his suspension, which comes from the League after his own investigation into his criminal charges. As part of the Rice’s advocacy agreement, he received a deferred probation of five years and 30 days in prison as a condition of probation.
Rice’s prison would be flexible, according to the Dallas County Prosecutor’s Office.
An arbitration hearing was scheduled for September 30 at the League headquarters in New York before the Federal Judge Sue L. Robinson to discuss the suspension. This date would have allowed Rice to play the first weeks of the chiefing season, but this suspension cancels this now.

Rice will not only miss the AFC West match of chiefs abroad, but also week 2 against the Eagles of Philadelphia in a revenge of the Super Bowl Lix, which will serve as a home opening of Kansas City.
The chiefs will also be without rice against the New York giants (week 3), Baltimore Ravens (week 4), Jacksonville Jaguars (week 5) and Detroit Lions (week 6).
Rice is eligible to return to the chiefing line line in week 7 when they face Las Vegas raiders on October 19.

He also had a brief availability during the Chiefs training camp, where he was allowed to train before the year.
“I have changed completely,” he told journalists. “You have to learn things like that. All that I can focus on, that’s what I can control at the moment and it’s me who does what I do.”
Rice was the driver of a Lamborghini Urus who went to 119 MPH on the North Central highway in Dallas when he made “multiple aggressive maneuvers around traffic” before crashing into other vehicles, according to the prosecutors. Rice did not check these vehicles involved in the accident and decided to flee the scene on foot.
Rice is also required to pay the victims for their direct medical expenses, which totaled around $ 115,000, as part of his advocacy agreement.
