The NFL announced Tuesday that the safety of Houston’s Texans, Jimmie Ward, had been placed on the list of reserve / commissioner copies.
Ward, 34, faces an accusation of criminal domestic violence resulting from an arrest in June. He was accused of having attacked a family or a member of the household after a woman said that the authorities strangled and threatened him, according to the police archives.
Ward was again arrested in August for violating the deposit of this accusation.

Players in the Commissioner’s Copies are not allowed to attend practices or games. The duration of the list is determined by Commissioner Roger Goodell.
“We are aware of the report involving Jimmie Ward. We collect information and have no comments anymore,” the Texans said in a statement at NFL.com in June.
Ward was accused of having physically and sexually assaulted the mother of her 3 -year -old son under the influence of Crystal Meth, according to a trial last week in Texas.
The trial accused Ward of having smothered Cristy West, with whom he was in a long-term relationship and requires more than $ 20 million in damages. West is represented by Tony Buzbee, who has represented many victims in many cases of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Steve Jackson, Ward’s lawyer, said kprc 2 that the trial has already been filed in the county of Montgomery and was dismissed.
“It is the same civil trial which was filed against Mr. Ward by other lawyers who were also tried and failed during a trial before jury to prove that Jimmie was married to Ms. West. We intend to focus on the criminal allegations and the next hearing of the great jury in the hope of this question which is rejected.”
PK Press Club Digital contacted Ward’s representatives to comment, but did not immediately obtain an answer.
Ward had not practiced during the training camp during the foot injury and was placed on the list physically unable to perform.
He began his third season with the Texans and the 12 of his career. Ward spent the first nine seasons of his career with the 49ers of San Francisco.

Last season, Ward was a team captain. In 10 games, Ward had 48 combined plated, two interceptions and four defended passes. One of his interceptions was returned for a touchdown.
CJ Gardner-Johnson and Calen Bullock should start safe for Houston in the absence of Ward.
