Islamabad:
The Gates Foundation will support the WHO in its partnership with Pakistan to strengthen the preparation and response to the under monsoon floods.
According to the WHO, the donation will support the WHO partnership with Pakistan in 33 high-risk and priority districts affected by floods through Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab and Balutchistan to meet the health needs of more than 465,000 people.
The donation of $ 1 million from the Gates Foundation will support the national and provincial authorities in Pakistan to ensure the continuity of vital health services.
