Iran offers condolences, assistance in Pakistan in the midst of devastating floods

The Iranian president, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, offered his condolences to the inhabitants of Pakistan about losses of lives and properties in the middle of the invested floods in various parts of Pakistan, reported Radio Pakistan.

Friday, in a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Iranian president provided help to the fraternal people of Pakistan during this difficult period. He also transmitted his sympathy and support for families affected by floods about the loss of precious lives and their material effects.

The Prime Minister thanked President Pezeshkian for his kind and thoughtful gesture and the expression of solidarity at this time of pain and suffering.

He also asked that his deep agreements and good wishes be granted to the supreme chief Ayatullah Ali Khamenei. The two leaders look forward to their interaction at the next SCO summit in Tianjin, China.
