The four hyperscalers in question are of course AWS, Google, Microsoft and Meta – and although Fadu did not say what are under contract, Meta is widely considered a solid candidate to be one of them after being appeared alongside the company during the recent Conference Future of Memory and Storage 2025.
During this event, Fadu unveiled its PCIe 6.0 controller, the code name Sierra, which supports capacities up to 512 TB and sequential speeds of 28 GB / s.
The product offers random reading performance of 6.9 million PIO while operating under 9W.
