Deputy Commissioner Pattoki, Furqan Ahmed Khan, was found dead in mysterious circumstances after being discovered unconscious in the toilets of his official residence.
According to the police, the 33 -year -old officer had undergone a serious head of the head that turned out to be deadly on the spot.
DSP Circle Patoki, Rana Sajjad Akbar, said that Furqan Ahmed Khan had joined the public service through CSS and Patoki was his first publication. He had recently assumed the accusation as an assistant commissioner. Family members revealed that he was suffering from brain tumor and epilepsy and used to get medication regularly from Islamabad. The police also recovered epilepsy medications in their room.
Sources have revealed that the deceased officer had actively supervised the rescue arrangements for the victims of the floods in recent days and remained at the Bluoki rest house. At night before his death, he retired to his room but failed to wake up in the morning. When his shooter, Asad, received no response after repeated blows, the door was opened and Furqan was found lying on the ground in the toilet with oozing blood from his head injury. Rescue 1122 and the police were immediately informed.
He was transferred to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead. Police collected evidence on the scene and summoned a medical-legal team.
The initial investigation suggests that he suffered the fatal injury after falling into the toilet, but the officials said that the exact cause of the death would only be confirmed after the medico-legal report.
Belonging to Lakki Marwat, Furqan Ahmed had married about one and a half ago, but had no children. He lived with his wife at the government’s residence.
The news of its premature disappearance spread the sorrow not only in Pattoki but also in its hometown Lakki Marwat.
