- Thrustmaster revealed the T248R racing wheel for PS5, PS4 and PC
- It will have an adjustable force feedback and a customizable LCD screen
- Its inclusive pedals are also fed by brand heart technology
The manufacturer of game equipment Thrustmaster revealed the T248R racing wheel. Successor of the Thrustmaster T248, this new wheel will be compatible with PS5, PS4 and PC.
Pre -orders start today on the Thrustmaster website, the wheel costing $ 349.99 / £ 269.99. He will then release a few weeks later on September 17, 2025. It is cheaper than similar mid -range wheels such as the Logitech G923 ($ 399.99 / 349.99 £) and the T248 predecessor (launched at $ 399.99 / £ 299.99).
Perhaps the remarkable characteristic of the Thrustmaster T248R is its adjustable force feedback. Thrustmaster describes these “boost” levels, each offering variable degrees of intensity. This might be useful if you want a more fluid experience for circuit runners like Gran Turismo 7,, or a more junk walk for, let’s say, EA SPORTS WRC.
An updated LCD screen is also presented here, and this is where you can adjust the aforementioned force feedback settings, as well as real -time racing information like the current times and the current speed. The display also seems to be quite customizable, with Thrustmaster indicating that it offers 20 bits of display information which can probably be by bike.
The T248R is also delivered with a set of pedals; The set of pedals T-15h. These are powered by the own Heart Hall effect technology of Thrustmaster, which means that they will have a contactless connection which should avoid any uncomfortable drift or the wear of the internal components. Brake resistance can also be adjusted here to your comfort.
It remains to be seen whether the T248R will land or not on our best PS5 racing wheels guide, but Thrustmaster has a solid assessment with regard to the best running wheels. As such, this could be a solid mid -range option which at least slightly undermines the competition in terms of price.
