Islamabad:
A 5.9 coarse earthquake rocked Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa games Thursday evening, according to the Sismic Monitoring Center.
The earthquake was born at 9:56 p.m. at a depth of 111 kilometers with its epicenter in the Hindu region of Kush.
Trendments have been felt in Manshra, Hangu, Abbottabad, Swat, Attock, Malakand, Rawalpindi and Islamabad, said the seismic surveillance center.
The PTV News state broadcaster said that on X, the tremors “lasted several seconds” and brought the citizens out of their house.
A Declaration of the provincial Punjab Disaster Management Authority said that he had received initial reports from an earthquake of “all the districts” in the province.
No immediate report of victims or damage has been received.
Trusting on Tuesday was felt in Peshawar, Mananshra and Islamabad after another earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan.
A PMD declaration noted that the 5.4-grown earthquake had taken place at 5.30 p.m. in the south-east of Afghanistan at a depth of 22 km with tremors felt all the way to Peshawar, Manshra, Islamabad, Abbottabad and Swat.
