- NVIDIA GeForce Now Ultimate Plan obtains its great upgrade on September 10
- It will be supplied by the Blackwell RTX 5080 GPU, rather than the RTX 4080
- This allows a resolution of up to 5k, or 360 images per second
Nvidia’s big upgrade for its high -level GeForce plan now arrives next week – September 10 to be precise.
This means that the ultimate level of subscription to the game streaming service will be fueled by a current RTX 5080 GPU, improved by RTX 4080 which is currently the engine behind this plan.
The move (picked up by The Verge) has been announced previously by Nvidia to Gamescom, and the good news is that the price will not change – and you will obviously get much better performance for your games, or even better quality graphics.
You can choose to run the ultimate package at a 5K resolution with 60 images per second, or you can plump for a 1440p resolution at 240 frames per second, or 1080p at 360 images per second.
With games that support the Multi-Trame DLSS4 generation, you can also activate the full tracing of the shelves for an additional visual punch.
As indicated, you can register at the ultimate level with RTX 5080 at the same price as before, which is $ 20 / £ 20 / $ 27.50 per month. Those who are already subscribers will be automatically upgraded to benefit from the additional groan of the RTX 5080 from September 10, as you can imagine.
Nvidia has also highlighted a few high -level games that have just arrived on GeForce now – Hollow knight: Silksong (via Steam – who caused the whole clamor), Hell is usAnd Cronos: The New Dawn (both on steam too).
Borderlands 4 And Dying light: the beast Also arrive on service later in September.
More games will also be playable, thanks to the game installation functionality, another upcoming upgrade to GeForce now. This allows players to install titles that have registered with Nvidia, but which are not yet fully implemented on the service, and it widens the game library available to more than 4,500, informs us Nvidia.
Analysis: displacement now
Previously, the RTX 4080 displays the ultimate subscription crowned at 4K and 240 IPS, which is increased to 5k and 360 images per second as ceiling for GeForce players. (Keep in mind that to reach 360 images per second, you will need a screen that supports 360 Hz).
We will have to see this new interpretation of the leading streaming experience in action before jumping to conclusions, but all of this seems promising – and it’s great to see any increase in Team Green prices.
Note, however, that Nvidia says the unroll From RTX 5080 to GeForce now starts from next week, which undoubtedly means that it will take a while to reach certain regions.
