- Hissense to launch 55 inch 100 inch models
- From € 1,499 (around $ 1,759 / $ 2,680 in)
- TCL and Sony models expected in similar sizes
It is just to say that we are a little excited by the televisions led by RVB such as the massive 116ux of Hisense and the vision of Samsung and Sony on technology. The promise is the image quality of OLED level with exceptional light, precision and longevity.
Currently, these televisions are very large and very expensive, so conventional wisdom is that it will take years before the so-called killing technology becomes more practical and affordable.
Maybe not. Hisense has confirmed that it would bring the same backlight technology to much smaller – but always entertaining – LED televisions for much less money than you expect.
The TVs led by RGB more affordable from Hisense arrived in 2026
As Flatpanelleshd reports, Hisense France has confirmed to two different media that their 2026 range of U9 model televisions, which we expect to see in mid-2026, will have RGB models as small as 55 inches.
The brand’s brand image for technology would be a trichroma lower than the RGB, and the prices seem incredibly low. Even the 100 -inch model is at a very lively price.
The prices of each size in Europe will be:
- 55 “- 1,499 €
- 65 “- € 1,799
- 75 “- 2,499 €
- 85 “- 2,999 €
- 100 “- 4,999 €
This is a price range of approximately $ 1,759 at $ 5,869 / $ 2,680 at $ 8,938 in.
For comparison, Hisense in RGB’s current televisions are $ 19,999 per 100 inches and $ 29,999 for 116 inches.
Flatpanelleshd says that new televisions should have the X Hisewiew AI engine, refresh rates up to 165 Hz and new anti-glare coatings. The great revelation is planned for these 2026 in January.
Hisense is not the only manufacturer to work on a wider RGB LED range. At the end of August, OMDIA research director David Hseih said his business expects Sony and TCL to be contested in 2026 with TVs led by RVB 50 inch and more. It seems that 2026 promises to be the year of the RGB LED.
