Nadra Counter to establish in all the Union councils: Mayor of Karachi

Karachi: Mayor Murtaza Wahab announced on Friday that Nadra counters would be set up in all Union advice to improve public access to registration services.

Speaking during the inauguration of the Nadra renovated registration center at the Babar Market in Landhi, Wahab said that a feasibility plan would also be prepared immediately for the construction of a Nadra center at the Ground Kakri in Lyari.

He added that the mega centers were under development in the city of Gulshan-E-IQBAL, Gulberg and Surjani.

The Landhi Center, inaugurated by Wahab alongside the Director General of Nadra Sindh, Amir Ali Khan, has been transformed into a modern installation with improved services.

The number of meters to a window has gone from four to seven to accelerate applications, the capacity of the seats was extended to 120, and separate toilets for men and women were built. The installations also include wheelchair access for disabled candidates and drinking water.

The DG Nadra Sindh Amir said that the renovation of five centers in Karachi had already been completed as part of the upgrade of 21 centers across the city.

He recognized that the first difficulties faced by citizens with the new Nadra mobile application, but stressed that it would provide reliable long -term services once fully operational.
