Bill Belichick apparently still has bitter grapes on his release from New England Patriots.
Now, the head coach of the University of North Carolina, the 73-year-old man and the school would have prohibited the scouts of the patriots from accessing the UNC football program.
The podcast “3 & Out” first reported the news, with ESPN later citing sources.

UNC did not immediately respond to an email from PK Press Club Digital.
ESPN said that the director general of football Michael Lombardi and the Professional Liaison Frantzy Jourdain informed the team that he had been banned last month.
Belichick was Patriots’ head coach for 24 seasons, winning six Super Bowls. However, they missed the playoffs in each of the last three years of his mandate after Tom Brady signed with the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay.

The owner of the patriots, Robert Kraft, finally admitted that it was his decision to leave Belichick, but he declared earlier this week that he planned to give Belichick a statue “right next to” Brady.
“When this large era of 20 ended, it was always my intention to order a statue for Tommy and Bill when their respective careers was over, playing and coach. At the end of the Bill coach career, we look forward to sitting with him and doing a statue to be right next to Tommy”, ” Kraft told CBS News.
Belichick, Brady and Kraft all attended Brady Patriots’ renown temple Induction ceremony last year.
Belichick and the Patriots separated after the 2023 season, which marked the third consecutive year, New England missed the playoffs. Jerod Mayo replaced him in 2024, but he was released for Mike Vrabel after a single season.

Belichick, 73, has since joined the University of North Carolina, but its debut of Tar Heels were to be forgotten. TCU beaten a 48-14. It was the greatest number of points never abandoned by a team trained by Belichick.
