Strict safety measures in place for Eid Milad-Un-Nabi in Rawalpindi

The EID Milad-Un-Nabi is observed in Rawalpindi with devotion while the committees finalize the preparations, in parallel with strict security measures for the main procession.

More than 6,000 police and staff will be deployed on Rawalpindi to ensure the characteristic of the trials. At the entry points of the trials, the walking doors will be installed and the participants will not be allowed to grasp only after the body research.

The main procession will go through Banni Chowk, Circular Road, Waris Khan, Murrier Road, Chowk Committee, Iqbal Road, Bohar Bazaar, Fawara Chowk, Raja Bazaar and Ding Khoi Chowk, before concluding Jamia Masjid Road. The streets, roads and alleys along the procession route will be sealed for safety.

According to the vice-president of the Milad committee, Hafiz Hassan Fareedi, the main procession of the Eid Milad-Un-Nabi in Rawalpindi will be inaugurated at 11:00 am on the stage which was installed outside the history Jamia Masjid.

“The inaugural ceremony will be assisted by officials of the district administration, members of the Milad Committee Committee, scholars and religious leaders,” said Hafiz Hassan Fareedi. The administration has prohibited NAAT groups based on music and large vehicles in the procession.

In addition, the main procession of the Cantt Milad the 12th Rabi-UL-Awwal will start at 10am from the Chungi No.22 Chowk.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the Nation and the Muslim ommy on Eid Milad-Ubi. In their individual messages, they urged people to commit to shaping individual and collective lives in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PSL).

The Prime Minister in his message detailed OW that we must call upon the country to renew their commitment to building Pakistan in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PSL). He also called to reject all forms of prejudice, sectarianism, extremism and hatred, and interest to promote qualities such as empathy, solidarity and harmony all citizens.

Milad rallies must be held at government and private levels. Naat’s recitants will present tributes in honor of the Holy Prophet (PUBH).
