Rawalpindi:
The 1500th Eid Miladun Nabi (PSL) will be celebrated today (Saturday) with great religious zeal, devotion and respect. In Rawalpindi, two central processions will be withdrawn from 9 a.m. and continuing until the end of the night, with the recitation of the NAAT and Durood resonant along the roads.
Strict security and administrative measures have been finalized. The authorities prohibited all illegal practices during processions, including the presentation of weapons, political flags, slogans, strong music, heavy vehicles, donkey trolleys and construction equipment along the roads. Parking has also been prohibited. The reception camps will only be authorized with official CNOs, while the stands serving milk, drinks, tea and food will be installed.
All hospitals in the city have been placed on an emergency alert, with doctors, nurses and canceled paramedics. A contingent of the 111 brigade will remain pending. Throughout the day, the procession routes will be sprinkled with rose water and the participants will also be wrapped with it.
