The Browns of Cleveland signed the choice of second round Quinshon Judkins to a contract on Saturday following the conclusion of its legal questions.
Judkins, 21, had been the last player in the NFL 2025 draft class to sign a contract.
Judkins was arrested for a battery and an offense of domestic violence on July 12. The 36th choice in total of the draft was not with the Browns throughout the training camp as the legal problems took place.

The accusations were abandoned by the office of the state investigator after the inconsistencies were found in the history of the alleged victim. However, Judkins can still face NFL’s discipline for violating its personal conduct policy.
NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy said on Wednesday at the AP in an email that “the case was in progress.”
While Judkins should sign his contract, the star of Ole Miss and Ohio State should not play on Sunday in the opening of the Browns against the Bengals of Cincinnati. Depending on the amount he trains next week, he could play in week 2.
Browns should obtain a temporary exemption from alignment for Judkins, by NFL network. This decision allows the Judkins to train without requiring an immediate movement of alignment.

The temporary alignment exemption lasts two games.
The browns should rely on the half covers Jerome Ford and the recruit Dylan Sampson until Judkins can go to speed.
Ford, 25, enters its fourth season with the Browns. In 14 games and six departures, Ford ran 565 yards and three affected while making an average of 5.4 yards per attempt.

Ford is also a threat to the reception match because it captured 37 assists for 225 yards last season.
Sampson was selected during the fourth round of this year of Tennessee this year. The 20 -year -old ball carrier was appointed offensive player of the dry year in 2024.
Browns and Bengals play at 1 p.m. at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.
