Certain fiercest criticisms of President Donald Trump shared the spotlight with the president while looking at the US Open in New York on Sunday afternoon.
Bruce Springsteen, Lindsey Vonn, Anna Wintour and Stephen Curry were only a few of the athletes and celebrities who were in the stands of the Arthur Ashe stadium at Flushing Meadows, Queens. They were some of the greatest criticisms of the president outside the world of politics.
Springsteen, while he was in Europe in June, called Trump and his “betrayal” administration. He urged his fans in Germany to defend him against “authoritarianism”.

“America I love, America I have sang you, which has been a headlight of hope and freedom for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and betrayal administration,” he told the crowd during his set.
Vonn, who won a gold medal at the Vancouver 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games, said in 2017 that she would not represent Trump at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic Games in South Korea.
“Well, I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president,” she said in 2017.
In January, she wanted to say that she was not paying attention to American policy while she was in competition in Italy.
“There is a lot of things in the United States and all of this is not positive,” she said when he was asked if he was going to look at the inauguration of Trump. “So I’m just excited to have a break.
“This is what I like in ski races – that when I’m in the starting gate, that’s all I think,” added Vonn. “I don’t think of the world and my life and what’s going on. I just think of going fast and I like this simplicity.”

Anna Wintour, the former editor -in -chief of Vogue, has had a major quarrel with Trump in recent years. She criticized her management of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. Wintour seemed opposed to the first lady of Melania Trump on the cover of the fashion magazine after her husband became president.
Curry had a high -level social media quarrel with Trump. Curry suggested that he did not want to go to the White House to celebrate the 2016-2017 NBA championship. Trump withdrew the invitation.
The star of the Golden State Warriors went further in an interview with Rolling Stone in 2022.
“Most of his rhetoric – before he was president, during his four years, and even now, if he tries to run again – in a tone of division that has no place in our country,” Curry told the magazine. “As serious and noisy as the threat of him or anyone who presents himself to his functions, there is a similar emergency and a volume that is necessary on the other side.”
Trump entered the stadium less than an hour before the start of the match. It was welcomed with cheers because it initially entered the site. During the national anthem, the president received applause and hoots when he appeared on the videos.
