Lahore:
On Sunday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sadness concerning loss of life in a tragedy of the rescue boat in Jalalpur Pirwala and ordered the authorities concerned to make rescue efforts in the areas affected by the floods more effective.
He pointed out that quick and complete assistance should be ensured for all displaced people.
He also asked that coordination and cooperation with provincial governments will be further strengthened to improve rescue and rescue operations.
