- A personalized Windows 11 construction, Tiny11 builder, deletes the Bloatware and is available to install on older equipment
- Microsoft Windows 10 will reach its end on October 14, without more official assistance
- Tiny11 is available via a script on GitHub
It is almost the end of the road for Windows 10, with Microsoft removing the management of the popular operating system in favor of Windows 11 from October 14. It’s not good for systems that do not meet Windows 11 requirements, but there is a solution.
As indicated by our friends from Tom’s Hardware, a personalized version of Light Windows 11 (via a script), Tiny11 Builder, is available on Github by NTDEVLABS, designed for older and less powerful equipment (regardless of the system requirements), with its latest version eliminating an important part of the Windows 11 Bloateware, ready for Windows 11 25H2.
Functionities and applications such as OneDrive, Office Hub, Edge and Outlook are all deleted under “ tiny1maker ”, which is the regular recommended script, as you can see in the Surfsharkacademy YouTube video below.
The new version also presents “Tiny11Coremaker”, described as a “fast and dirty development test beacon” which removes a large expanse of Bloatware, but without the possibility of updating or adding features after creation.
This is a huge advantage for current Windows 11 users like me, due to the frustrating experience of background processes that spoil game performance, as well as for users migrating from Windows 10. Your laptop or PC does not need to meet the requirements of the Windows 11 system to execute Tiny11, so it’s an excellent option before the disappearance of Windows 10.
It also arrived at an ideal time before the new full screen experience ‘via the Xbox application, set to be launched alongside the Rog Xbox Ally, later coming to other devices in 2026. The Xbox application is indeed deleted by Tiny11 Builder, but it seems easy to reinstall on the Tiny111 Maker.
Analysis: it seems perfect for my office platform
I cannot count the number of preinstalled applications and features on my Windows 11 game PC that I do not use or that I barely remember – and that tells me alone that Windows 11 has a large amount of unnecessary bloating.
Tiny11 seems to be the one -way ticket to solve this, and this is something I plan to use. Make no mistake, I would go to Bazzite in the blink of an eye if there was a better NVIDIA GPU functionality, but as it stands, the removal of unnecessary background processes seems to be the reasonable measure to adopt the optimization of Windows 11.
Tiny11 should also be ready and functional for the new update 25h2 of Windows 11, and we hope that it does not come with a packet of problems like 24H2.
It is great to see alternatives like this, and I hope that the new Xbox experience completes that Microsoft is about to deliver follows the traces of Tiny11.
