Acer introduced the Chromebook Plus Spin 514 to IFA 2025, its first Chromebook powered by the Mediatek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor with an integrated neuronal processing unit.
The protruding facts of the new Cabriolet laptop include AI features on devices, several display options and a lasting design.

The Spin 514 can be configured with up to 16 GB of RAM LPDDR5X and a UFS 256 GB storage. It has a 70Wh battery capable of 17 hours of use.
The 14 -inch touch screen is available in WQXGA + 2880×1800 at 60 Hz and 340 Nits or Wuxga 1920×1200 at 120 Hz and 300 Nits.
The two options include gorilla glass, anti-tension protection and a 16:10 appearance ratio.
The MIL-STD 810H compliant frame weighs 1.36 kg and measures 15.5 mm thick.
There are two USB-C 3.2 Gen2 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports and a headphone jack. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The webcam is available in 5MP or 1080p, and is delivered with a blue glass lens, a confidentiality shutter and lighting assisted by AI and a reduction in noise.
Alongside the Consumer edition, Acer also launched the Plus Spin 514 Chromebook bookbook.
This commercial laptop is delivered with the upgrade of Chrome Enterprise which unlocks the centralized management of devices, stronger security and simplified deployment, allowing companies to manage chromebook fleets, apply IT policies and provide employees with secure remote access.
The Enterprise Plus model offers the same equipment as the standard edition, including the Mediatek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor with an ARM Immortalis-G925 MC11 GPU.
The Chromebook Plus Spin 514 will be available in October from $ 699.99 in North America and € 699 in EMEA.
The Chromebook Enterprise Plus Spin 514 will be available in October in EMEA from € 879. No word on the prices of the United States.
