A new canon camera is about to land, and the company has just dropped a major index on one of its features.
As we reported last week, Canon is throwing something tomorrow – something that looks a lot like a new Cinema Eos Compact camera prepared to face the Sony FX3. Before the launch (which you can watch live on YouTube – scroll down to see the integrated video), the company has published an Instagram video subtitled: “Open your world to what is following. 9.9.25 ”.
The video shows a lateral silhouette of the new camera, which is interesting, but it is the choice of words in this legend that excites us even more. The use of “open” clearly seems to indicate that this camera will support video recording of the open door – using the entire surface of the image sensor.
Open Gate is appreciated by filmmakers and content creators because of his support for reframing video in any aspect report.
Despite its Panasonic rival giving users an open gate recording with several of its video cameras, such as the Lumix S1 II, the feature was not available on a canon camera before, so its inclusion here would be a big news.
