De facto check examined the entire press conference held by PTI on September 5 outside the main building of the National Assembly in Islamabad. No declaration was made by the judge of the Supreme Court.
The only time he mentioned Minallah judge was when he said:
“Yesterday, judge Athar Minallah delivered a speech to the Karachi bar, where he took a courageous position and specifically declared that this hybrid system is another name for the dictatorship. We support his position and hope that the judges of the Supreme Court and all the judges of the High Court will be held with Judge Athar Minallah on this occasion. We have, thanks to our position, through our parliamentary people of the parliamentary population.
Nowhere in his remarks, Qaiser said that judge Minallah would become senator after his retirement or that he was part of PTI. Even the clip attached to the online publication does not show that Qaiser made the written complaint in the legend.
Verdict: The assertion that Qaiser said that the Supreme Court Judge Minallah joined PTI and was appointed for the Senate after retirement is false. An examination of the complete talk-tricks of Qaiser shows that he referred to the speech of judge Minallah at the Karachi bar and expressed his support for his position.
